Charlotte Karls, PA-C

As a Physician's Assistant Charlotte sees patients of all ages with various medical needs in the clinic.  She does not see obstetric patients or hospital patients.

Charlotte and her husband, Bob, have lived in Salida since 2000.  They have two children; Emily born in 1999 and Jackson born in 2005.  Bob is a realtor with Massey - Coldwell Banker.

Before becoming a Physician's Assistant (PA), Charlotte was a Genetic Counselor for four years at Memorial and Penrose Hospitals in Colorado Springs.

She was a wilderness instructor for North Carolina and Colorado Outward Bound Schools for ten years.

Medical Interests include:

• Pediatrics - baby care, child development, adolescents, parenting
• Women's Health - contraception, STD's, menopause issues
• Inherited diseases including reproductive risk and familial cancers

Personal interests include kayaking, rafting, snowboarding, backpacking, and gardening.
